Yeah mate, no low bass! no bass is being pushed out of the HU, the subwoofer handles that! it doesnt sound good if I start putting the bass on through the speakers on the head unit. But thats how I have mine set, the rears are set to a little so I dont ruin my own lil soundstage :) But...

I personally hear all the time that you only have to change the shocks when lowering the car more than 40mm! So you can get away with a small drop for a small price so not too much of a waste if it aint too good ride! BUT! just changing the springs & not the shocks and ruin the handling due...

yeha Ive got a speaker grill to stop things from damaging the actual cone! you never know, somet sharp might pierce the cone if you do sudden braking or a hard corner or what have you! I personally think a 12" sub would be best for all types of music... however a 10" would be better for dance...
