hard wired, means you take the power cable from the head unit straight to the battery via an inline fuse instead of going thru the original wiring loom that is already there! Alpine head units need this type of wiring due to the power/volts it needs! Not sure about the length of earth...

depends on how you fitted them, I made my own enclosures for my 6*9s, & any problems are solved from this.

if you listen to just that kind of music go for two 10s mate, will be able to keep up with the fast paced music & should be able to handle the rare low dropped beats that some trance music have !

for 350, i would get either a JL, Directed Audio, PG or audiobahn sub! & either an alpine, directed, genesis, pg amp, but like cliosportcraig said, it depends how loud u wanna go! Directed Audio & JL both have decent sound quality too so you can have loudness & still have the bass notes in...

well if you aint got a glovebox light & cant nick the feed off any other light, like interior light, or whatever, then its gonna be ur only choice... but i forgot to mention u will of course need to go via a switch. just install ur own boot light in the way of a cold cathode, aint that hard.
