Ah, no prob's mate. VTEC does gobble engine oil, as do the Rx-8's lad at work used approx a litre of oil a month, and he hardly did any miles!!

May well be corrected mate, but car shouldn't really use gearbox oil. Changes are beneficial to prolong life of gearbox, and also make changes slicker. Recommended as gearboxes are a little bit fragile..

Have a strange 'crackly' sort of noise going on with phs 1 at the minute. Haven't as yet been able to find out exactly where it's coming from.. Sounds like something is shorting or similar, but am pretty clueless at min, till have afternoon off on Thursday to look.No problems with starting...

What's in that kit Hutchie? And is it under £1500:rasp: As already said best thing you can do is not abuse it too much especially from cold. More frequent oil changes as milage creeps up, making sure use genuine synthetic oil.

Couple on here with decent milages mate. Remember even if average milage has been done, 100k will be on the horizon now. As said, servicing is the key. Mine is on 117k at min;)
