Waterpump noise.......

Has anyone got a vid of noise waterpump makes if on way out please???
Have done a vid but software wont let me upload at min..

Does it sound like a GT TDI, and the noise increase with revs??

I know from searching that this is a t**t of a job on phase 1. Is it a job for a specialist or local garage. My local garage is very good, but not sure what's involved, and my nearest specialist is about 130miles away. Is it worth making the journey, or is it straight forward just awkward for an experienced mechanic ??

Took us f**king hours to change on the 182, if it failed again though we'd probably be quicker.

Any garage should be able to do it, i'd recommend pearsons in Halifax

Just been out and started car for first time in a few days. Really am gonna have to get a definate diagnosis and sorted asap, doing my head in!!!
