Been done a thousand times on here.... Alpine FTW. Renault speakers are adequate, if you've got a decent HU and can HPF the fronts and they can cope well with >200Hz at deafening dB levels. Sub in the boot and a HPF and you'll be more than happy with the sound quality. Failing that...

If the clutch was knackered, it would probably have a very very high biting point. When you're in 5th at maybe 30mph, put your foot to the floor (accelerator) and see if it slips. The revs will rise but the car wont speed off... Heavy clutch is standard in the 172s but on a 1.4 I'd imagine...

There are plenty of recommendations in this thread... you'll have to travel more than 2 miles to get to one though.

Airbox has no sensors on it. It's a housing for the filter. I left mine bare so there was no outside world feed .. lots more noise !! I found it to be very fruity over 4k but below that sluggish almost .. putting the standard box on meant more low down punch but not so exciting the rest of...
