The n95 8GB has it in the latest f/w as of last month, the original/classic n95 does not. ( It's expected in the next update)... Hence the reason I started this thread and took the time to add ASR to my classic n95.
IF YOU HAVE AN 8GB, this doesn't apply to you.

Finally bit the bullet last night and decided I WOULD have ASR courtesy of 3rd party f/w. Found a guide on YouTube (see below), followed it and it works! Took around 10 mins all in.
I've tried before to get...
mine's groaning loads at the moment. Sounds more like it's coming from the footwell tho.Really annoying, but i won't be annoyed enough to replace the clutch! Maybe some spray grease will cure it!
Got one! Argos in Peckham. Was in London visiting family, which was nice! I wanted the HUMAX box particularly as I've read many favourable reviews on it AND it has an optical out. My 5.1 surround sound pre-dates HDMI.

CES UK, 2 year warranty, exact fit, 30 quids. Was well happy. Was told the brand makes no difference; they're all filled in the same way with the same stuff.
Once you get to the stage of being able to send these in the post for the 172 I'll be due a 2nd replacement exhaust, and would be interested if the price was right...
I rewired the driver's seat but couldn't be bothered doing the passengers. (really awkward to access) Just tap them occasionally, move the seat fowards and backwards and press the red bit on the seat belt a few times and bob's your uncle.
I started this thread having found them to wear v.quickly, purely compared to other tyres I've had on my 172. I've never used them on track, and yes in the dry they're alright,... but the wear factor is poor, and wet use bad, but then I've had OEM tyres and Pirellis expensive stuff, and really...
