After 14 miles drive home I took off my O/S wheels to spray them (having sprayed the N/S last time the weather was good), 1hr or so later I put the wheels back on and the bolts wouldn't screw in. They were wanting to cross thread.
So I buggered around a bit, scratched my head and then put a...
Newton-le-Willows AGAIN just after 5, shockingly this time not in Tesco! I was behind you on my way home from the bumhole that is NLW/Earlestown.
Didn't flash my lights or owt, cos I'm a bit ignorant like that.
Honestly I'm not stalking you.
Been thinking about doing this for well, the last couple of years... Never thought I actually would tho. And today I only got halfway through (the nearside) before running out of paint and lacquer. By which time Halfords had shut. Used loads of primer, peugeot cossack grey and lashings of clear...
They are the most annoying bolts in the world. I gave up and went to a local garage, eastern european determination saved the day. I'd broken my torx bits, so he broke his own before using a hammer and small screwdriver to chisel them round. Best £30 I've spent in a long time. Do you have a G...
Yeah I intend to, I just needed confirmation really of where the alarm is situated. I've had an answer on the pug forum saying it's behind the centre console, sort of above the passenger footwell, so I'll start cutting stuff there first!
Cheers Edde
it's on drums. I thought the same,.. I can understand if the hub itself was tightened, so the bearing was overtightened... But not the handbrake. Madness surely?
Having done 51k in my 172, I know all too well. When I have friends in the car and I'm doing a U turn or something they must think I can't drive, cos I'll pick a wider part of the road or bail out before kerbing my wheel. But then most of my friends haven't got a clue. Mate of mine still boasts...
1*2's turning circle is sh1te, throw a mini roundabout or tight hairpin at it, and you'll find out. Every car I've had has been better, BMWs, Saab, Ford, VW, mini, Vauxhall etc...
I hear the v6 is even worse! Now that would be a pain
Bit of a long shot but maybe someone can help:
Gf's 106 has a fault I think with the alarm relay. When the car is locked up via the fob and the alarm is armed, the indicators front and back (o/s) light, which drains the battery over time.
I've read that I need to either replace the alarm...
the coils are less reliable on the non sports my mate at reno says. I've had an ht lead fail. They can kill, so don't touch them when engine's running tho. Ran like yours, have you checked them?
Slightly off topic, but I didn't think you could get 1080p from DVD, only HD DVD or Blu Ray (or alternative HD media source)?
And yeah, HDMI doesn't need to be made of Gold or Platinum and cost more than it ought to, it's like spending £50 on a USB cable, when a £1 is faultless. I think the...
spluttering is normal when cold and the accelerator is like an on/off switch, misfiring isn't.
It's been covered elsewhere on the forum, the cold starts are hampered by emissions restrictions.
I changed my plugs at 60+ and it made a small improvement, not much.
