Ok then, what RMS is the Kicker Comp 10" Sub? and what amp would you recommend to go with it out of that list which could also be use to power a set of comps up front? Also would that sub need a sealed or ported box?
Cheers Phil
he means a solnoid (sp) , otherwise how will u open the boot?
I think you can get them from maplins or wotever its called. You have it wired up to a button in the front to open the boot as he said. duno ne more.
Ok will i get an improved soung quality if i changed my 120watt 6X9s to some more powerfull like 400watt? They are run off the 4X45 watt headunit or is the unit not powerful enough?
I had a problem very similar to this last July. Some woman said that i hit her in a car park causing a dent in her wing. I had a passenger at the time and we both said nothing happened, i checked my car and there was no sign of and scratch or anything. She rang the plod and they gave her my home...
Cheers mate i will have a look at that stuff. I ent sure what model the speakers are at the mo as i cant find the box. Its a 1996 mark1 phase 3 clio so i expect it will fit in all mark 1s not sure on a price as i havnt thought about it. What would your mate pay?
Cheers everyone. As for a budget well i was hoping £250 max for sub amp and components. I know this isnt much but i just want something that will sound very good for me to listen to, not to go over the top. I might be able to go a bit higher if i can sell my current stealth shealf and 6X9s...
Cheers lads, Rich i will have a look into that sub but im not too sure on going for 15". I was realy thinking of a 10" sub but would i still need some speakers in the rear if i have comps up front and sub in the back? If so is it best to get some coaxles in the rear panels??
Evil ice what do...
Ok all you ICE people i need some help. At the moment i have a panasonic MD headunit with 50X4 watt power, running some vibe components in the front and a set of MB Quarts 6X9s in a stealth shelf.
It sound OK but isnt realy good enough, as the sound isnt that clear or sharp.

I agree they are good, especially if you go for their 10 month plan too speed up getting your no-claims bonus.
Im guna get a VTS soon and hey want £1400 which is alot, but im 19 and its group 14. All the other insurers say HAHAHA £4000 please and my current insure said, "We wouldnt insure you...
I agree it looks good if you get it the right colour, on a black car it wont be hard but there was a green corsa near m with they but the green lights were slightly different colour and looked KAK.
So do you just stick the tape over the metalwork? where do you stick it in the boot when you do it, on the sides and on the base under the carpet?? wot about the rest of the car, do you just cover all the metal under carpet/pannels or what?
Now you need to get rid of the old belts and mechanisms to save some weight. Is you engine standard and what year is you car as im thinking of getting a VTS.
