he means a solnoid (sp) , otherwise how will u open the boot? I think you can get them from maplins or wotever its called. You have it wired up to a button in the front to open the boot as he said. duno ne more.

Ok will i get an improved soung quality if i changed my 120watt 6X9s to some more powerfull like 400watt? They are run off the 4X45 watt headunit or is the unit not powerful enough?

So do you just stick the tape over the metalwork? where do you stick it in the boot when you do it, on the sides and on the base under the carpet?? wot about the rest of the car, do you just cover all the metal under carpet/pannels or what?

You just need to take the switch out and clean up the contact and spray on some contact spray. Worked for me.
