Holy crap.. this must be the first time in recorded history that someone in a Renault dealership doesn't know what they're on about.
Take them off FFS.. why would you want 'Sport' (or 'S ort') on your 1.2's B-pillars anyway lol ! I don't really want sport on the back of my RS.
Why would you edit photos on a photohosting/showcase site ?
I'm aware that full-fat PS has a hilarious price tag, but things like The GiMP are free, but PS Elements are cheap in comparison to full PS. Google's picasa software is like iPhoto for simple editing, and is also free ...
I'm a pro also.
IIRC you only get low res and approx 200 pics as a pauper anyway ? I think I uploaded close to that when I went to Goodwood FoS a couple of years back haha !
It's ~£17 a year... Just do it !
Edit: Also, havent found a 'generic' photohosting site which gives half as...
Are those pictures above at 55mm as shot, or cropped down !?
As per Revlols .. budget ? What are you planning on shooting .. do you want to be able to count the wrinkles on the pilots face from that position you were in above ?
Buying a £12,000 lens might make your subjects closer, but...
Pioneed do one that's a pair of subs, in what looks like a massive PS3 and is only 8cm tall.
Bit more than a cheap boxed sub but does what you need !
Going to put one in the next car I think...
The Yozza has dibs already .. and about 9 people have PMd me for the rest of the mods. TBH I don't like the look of the Yozza, but I'd replace the whole system with a stealth one of some variety. This sounds awesome and came up at the right price/time/location when I needed one :)
Top mount...
172 looks like a 1.2 .. 182 looks like a 1.2 and has a pair of exhausts cut out into the rear bumper. In the real world, you'll never notice the difference in power and the few mm's wider track on the 182 cup packed car (which is an entirely different thing to a 172 cup) again, unless your name...
I never said you can touch her. She's just out of my hair for the w/e :rasp:
This is mine http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?568982-F-S-2002-Monaco-Ph2-172-55k-%A32800. if you haven't found it yet.
Stupid double post !!!!!
PS: Unless your Mum owns a TVR and can lap a roundabout sideways, don't listen to her ;) Mum's know nothing about cars. Infact, "buy a newer car" is typical female advice when they don't actually have a scoobydoo about the subject..
Five grand ?!! You can have my missus for a weekend AND my car for 5k ;)
You can pick up a ph1 for <£1500 these days.
I'm in Billericay if you want a wander over, but looking at googleymaps you're awkwardly a long way away by road !
Presuming it's the correct PCD and offset, yes... BUT.... 17's do not work on Clios 99% of the time ! They look stupid and make the handling awful. Perhaps you enjoy a car which tramlines to f*k ;)
15s and lows .. much better !
Welcome BTW ! Location dude ? (I'm presuming you're a guy anyway)
172 cup's have no ABS so can be difficult to insure, depending on circumstances.
As above, what do you want ? A weekend toy or a daily ? Budget ? Location ? Mine's for sale ;)
Re: Tyre pressures...
How low is 'a bit low' ? It's a <500kg car .. it doesn't need 30psi per corner.
Most 7's run between 15 and 20psi depending on setup.
Just keep it simple.
OEM+ works best IMO with something as stupid looking as a Clio... They're too short (wheelbase) to pull off big wheels, plus it just ruins the handling.
My old Ph1 RS:

OEM + coilovers. Spot frikkin' on, if I do say so myself...
Whack them on eBay. Some idiot will buy them...
Clios don't handle well on 17s, and 16's arent amazing. They must be awful.
I'd get 15 or 16" wheels .. OEM look just fine TBH, OZ F1s suit the ph1 .. ultraleggeras, superleggeras also look good .. Speedline 2110s in white maybe if you like...
Few from today - spend the weekend in the garden pruning/mowing/cutting etc.:
