Raised my pressures to 33f 31r and the car feels incredible; seems to carry more momentum and corners much much more cleanly.
Was fine at :race: motorway speeds too.
Well happy
pull your neck in means shut the f@ck up.
You said I was spoilt cos I had a better car than you, never mind the difficult job I do, which actually finances my car ya feckin dimwit.
Oh, learn to type.
Can you repeat that? Preferably in English.
I've had plenty of bangers in my time; had an old Scirocco 1.8GT, loved that thing, the guy who bought it from me ruined it with a silly spoiler from a fiesta zetec and a third rear brake light (from a clio actually), fixed with the aid of an angle...
Mate I was seeing this girl a while back... Gave her a lift in her ROVER 114GSI Ha ha. (A 1.4 metro). Dropped her off and then ragged it all the way back to ours, now the brakes are sheet, it's slow as fook, the tyres are skinnier than my mountain bike's but the thing can handle. Anyway I got...
i just read, after doing a lengthy search (site is slow tonight eh), that the official psi is 33f 31r... But hey, my digi tyre pressure gauge is +/- 1 psi accurate anyway.
Gonna try this tomorrow when tyres are cold
I wonder this too. I run 30psi all round, when I've inflated more (172 entirely standard) i've had nasty high speed handling,.. talking brown trouser situations...
What is the book psi for the 172?
my mate used to work for a powder coaters... for £2o he could powder coat anything metal.
Never rated coatings; too thick and likely to be chipped off.
Thinner is a winner.
Can't believe I didn't know this already... I've been driving round for the last seven months with my wing mirrors all rain covered, cursing cos my old BMW used to have [permanently] heated mirrors....
Next you'll tell me if you hold the central locking button on the dash down for approx 5...
I've done it with one trolley jack and one factory fit jack, just make sure handbrake is on, chock other two wheels in front and behind... Then cross your fingers!
