Mine does the same, gona have a look at it next week when i have it on the ramp doing the clutch. Sounds like a heat shield or sumthing. ill post back next week if i cure it :)

took it out for a run there, you cant really hear the noise when changing through gears, only when starting of. though if you sit on the bite long enough you can start and smell a burning smell, though clutch doesnt slip

Ok, when I let my clutch up to biting point you can hear a sort of scraping sound, hard to explain really, the engine running fine its just when you let the pedal up to bite you can hear it, any ideas? Thanks in advance

around 20 quid not that dear. get it down at quick fit or somewhere that does tyres etc, they seem to be the cheapest, that should cure it. Try and take it somewhere with newer equipment and get it done on the computer, its alot more accurate.

Just a suggestion but the blue wire could/probably is a remote wire, try wiring the blue in with the positive and the lights will probably work. Picture of the wire would help. Also check there is voltage going to the lights, you may have blown a fuse when wiring them in, or a relay. Also you...

It's there to tell the injector to when the piston is tdc to allow the injector to inject the fuel to start the car. Ifs it away the car will be hard to start. Its in around the cam belt somewhere have never looked.
