Sounds good to me. Renault quoted me £160 just to paint & fit a rear spoiler. I declined needless to say!

Just mind you dont bottle out on a fast corner and lift off - youll be pointing the wrong way before you know it. Lift-off oversteers great when you learn to control it a bit though!

I guess if you know someone whos used them before its the best recommendation.

Yeah isnt that always the case. The place I used in Telford when I got my car lowered looked like a right dump. Just a couple of units. No credit cards, no headed notepaper or invoices. Did a fantastic job, didnt rip me off (£45), gave me lots of good advice and Ill be back there for sure next...

Strange really, these 2 cars are in different price brackets anyway, so its understandable that the Mini would have more toys and be a bit more refined. Cooper S is about the same price as a normal 172 isnt it? I wonder why they didnt compare with that instead of the Cup?
