Plug into your normal wall plugs, and you plug an Ethernet cable into them.
They use the power cables inside your house to transmit data. Just use one at each end, with an Ethernet cable from router/Xbox to power line adapters. Has to be plugged straight into the wall tho (not through extension...
Basically, you have one of them cheapo eBay extension kits? Plugs into the front of the socket and the other end is the other box?
If so, I would put a micro filter onto that. Just to be sure.
Best thing you can do, is disconnect EVERYTHING, and plug it all into the master socket, and test it.
It will be that.
Look at the master socket in your house. You should have a little box plugged into it, with two different sized ports on it. Should say ADSL/router and phone above them.

Quick question, as I'm not up to date with android. Do they still have a silly "update cycle" of new products? (I.e they stopped updating them pretty damn quickly?)
Allright, Take it back! Sorry
I personally don't want one, dont need it. I have an ipad 2, and haven't thought once of getting rid of it for the mini, the 4th gen? Yeah I'm tempted, the mini, no. I can definitely see the attraction though. Commuters who read the paper/book on the train, suits...
Poor was a poor choice of words (lol)
I haven't got one, the horror stories of it chipping away quite easily scares me tbh, it looks far too good to live in a case. Quite a few people on here have said it too. Just wondered if the ipad is so easily marked
