I tend to use the Autoglym Leather Cleaner or a weak mixture of Megs APC to clean and then Einszett Leather Care. I have tried the Autogylm Black Dye but not any light coloured ones.

Can you get some pics? It sounds like the metal has become etched. I had polished lips on my old 309 GTi wheels and for some reason this happened to just one of them. My metal polisher said it was down to bad casting, they would need to machine polished again to remove it. Heard great things...

Rub the top of the wax and it warms it up yes. Not used the Samuri but I thought it was just re-badged Onyx which is super soft. My Onyx, Saphir and BOS are all soft, the Mystery is rock solid though.

Room temp is fine, I warm the wax by rubbing my fingers round it soon makes it soft. If it is really cold I leave it under the halogen for a few mins.
