as said just buy it, i went 2years with insurance fom the internet, never spoke to a single person in 2 years. they probably wont even notice neway, its just sum random guy at the other end that sends the letters out.
ye as said check belts being done, if its not been done then you will want them doing, also its probably new spark plug time, fresh coolant, brake fluid if it hasnt already been done, see one of the specialists on here, they will see you right.
it is possible to wrap the engine cover in vinyl yes. whether it will last depends on what the actual temperatures get to in there. a good cast vinyl wrapping film can withstand temperatures up to maybe 150degrees before it starts to bubble/melt. i wouldnt have thought the temps get that high in...
nooo!!!. you cant use any water on it, it a dry application vinyl, designed to be used without lubrication. if it goes tits up you should be able to peel off/reposition at least once more. and for anyone that doesnt know heat is your friend. especially if you screw up. eg(please excuse pics)...
hmm, iv not checked my carbon canister but mine does sound like its from the top of the engine, dephaser area, is yours exactly the same as that sound clip i linked to just not as loud, the sound increases with revs.
ive painted 2 of my wheels in anthracite, the 1st one still looks good but has got 1 or 2 stone chips becaue i never put enough lacquer on, the 2nd wheel has been done fo 6months plus now and is still going strong
i got one from GT car parts place for just over £5, it bent like mad, the edges have ripped off and everything, atm, its in half, thats the only way i got it in :dapprove:

got a pollen filter today from a motor factors, now when i changed the old one i just couldnt get the new 1 in without bending/twisting it.is there a certain way to do it, for the sake of a fiver i dont mind buying a new 1 if have to.

ye i appreciate that but - y does the expensive engine mount made from more expensive material only cost an extra £20, whereas the gearbox £17 oe mount cost almost an extra £100. it just doesnt seem right.
can any1 explain to me y the uprated upper gearbox mount is almost £100 more expensive than oe equipment whereas the uprated engine mount is only £20 more expensive than oe.
im not trying to say it isnt worth it, just asking y the price varies so hugely.
at the moment iv gt hc dics on, came with the package from ktec, lines, ds2500 etc.
are these the biggest diameter discs that you can get to fit under the standard calipers.
