i know how u feel matey, i washed my car yesterday and found that someone has scratched my front bumper, probably in a supermarket. lucky for me it looks like it will polish out.
am i right in thinking that the only way to remove the screenwash bottle is to remove all the wiper linkages etc. i have what looks like mud in the bottle.
you dont need to disconnect the battery or anything tbh. whe i changed all my dash lights including clock display etc i never disconnected the battery. i still had the ignition on when i swapped the bulbs in the clocks. you will be fine.
200-300. thats just labour, the cheapest your gna get the vinyl for is about £100- £150 and it will probably be crap tbh. and what prep work, bucket and sponge.
does anybody know off hand how tall the clio is and also how long, the width of the thing would be good too. and no i cant be arsed to go owtside with my tape measure :D cheers
tbh i would try and stay away from polishes and waxes and stuff etc. its a wrappers nightmare (trust me i know). it will all have to be wiped off properly anyway. whoever does the wrapping will clean the car up themselves. to help them out just give it a bit of a going over with tar remover and...
lack of auto lights aswell, the nightmare continues. well i kinda like stuff like that. still not totally decided tho. the car will probably be pushed to the limit but not loads. so i would be better off with coilies then. hmmm.
is there anyone on here that has gone from a normal ff 182 to a trophy. the only thing that is stalling me atm is the lack of xenons and climate control as im quite fond of it. plus if i go trophy i will be approx £1k - £1.5k down and wont want to start spending cash straight away.
i do like...
theres 1 on autotrader now £5800, what you guys reckon, obviously i know i shud drive it but just from the advert. it says fsh but probably not belts. is that why the price is quite low...
but dont forget your paintwork underneath the wrap is protected, and if you want to revert back to standard you just peel it off. also if it gets scratched, again you just peel away and put a fesh piece of vinyl on. like anything it has its advantages/disadvantages.
if your confident enough you could do some bits yourself, ie, bonnet, roof, mirrors, sidestrips, (if removed), all flat or small areas. the harder bits are the bumpers, well the front neway. a sign company should be able to do it all in a day.
it would also help if you clean the car to make it...
the girl on the phone from elephant took away my declared optional extras. i declared active/sports suspension + alloy wheels. she then went away for 2mins checked. then said the car was standard. i have a 182 with all cup packs. i took her name, date, time etc incase anything comes of it as i...

is the esp and serv light not the brake pedal switch. its in the guides section. i have a 182 and when this happened on my car it was this switch and the problem hasnt come back since.
same sorta thing happened to me, was on the motorway, come to end of slip road went for 2nd and nothing. every gear except 2nd. when i tried for 2nd i got the rumbling/vibrating feeling. after ringing around for prices i decided that i was gonna wait til the next month then get a rebuild...
u want to drive the same stretch of road twice, preferably with the same outside temperature and little/no traffic. one time with the cat on and one with de-cat. stick the cruise control on to make it fair and when your up 2 speed, reset the mpg ang record the figures after a short while. should...
i have seen one around preston thats just as bad. halfords silver trim and inserts everywhere and a big gay silver sunstrip that reads 'bad boy'. ive not seen it for a while tho, must have seen sense.
