Clay wont touch it - as said many times clay is for above the surface defects - bonded on marks etc, not damage in the paint/clearcoat. It is also not the best action for the residue.
A good wash with some Strong shampoo or Megs APC and polish will remove the residue.
As FM has said above...
I plugged mine in to update the camera locations at the weekend (V2) and it installed the latest software - need to buy an up to date map to allow it to use the mapshare though.
Depends on how many pics you want to take when using it ! I used to easily fill a 1GB card on a day out with my 350D. Have that and a 2GB card these days.
Thought it sounded expensive then saw the 1 yrs NCB which makes it good. Greenlight where great when I was the good side of 25, not as competitive now I am the wrong side.
Working by hand something like Megs Scratch X or the Carlack Scratch Removal/Polishing Paste.
Ideally a decent polish and a machine will make it easier.
Rose tinted glasses these days, would need to drive one back to back with the Clio - the 182 was the 205's replacement and I did not miss the GTi once the Clio was delivered. The 205 was a great car to drive, as fun yes, and ultimately more rewarding to drive as most of the time it felt like it...
If it was a 1.9 it would be snapped up straight away. Low mileage or not that car won't appeal to most collectors.
Missing a proper fuel cap, thats money off straight away !
I find the endurance actually lasts quite well, just lasts while getting shed loads of stuff stuck to it after 30 seconds of driving and slings like hell up the side of the car.
