I think I will try and match the factory colour by mixing up a small amount of Silver with the Hammerite Black when I do. At the moment they still come up brand new looking just with a clean though.
Shite news on the Swisswax. I may have to cobble some cash together for a few bits before you stop then - was good to be able to get them alongside a range of other products. Sounds like something I would expect from the Zymol lot - Shame.
The Problem with Gold Glass is it is not a pure carnuba wax, the other products in it will try and remove the EGP layer.
All depends on budget - if you have 40 odd quid to spend on Wax go for the Swissvax Onyx. Looking for something cheaper then the Dodo Range or Chemical Guys 50/50 are worth a...
Split the bar into 3, make sure the clay is warm and soft. If you drop it - bin it. Use plenty of the lube and knead the clay to give it a clean side for each pass. Only rub lightly.
Use the clay to do the glass and wheels after you have finished the paint.
Ditch the flexi blade IMO - working...

Like most things in life you get what you pay for.
There are cheap universal covers which tend to be ill fitting and non breathable which are ok for occasional use.
Then there are fitted breathable covers which cost £££.

One of the worst tyres I have ever had the pleasure to use. They where standard on a hell of a lot of Pugs including the 306 GTi 6 and XSi and are know as ditchfinders in the owners club.
They seem quite hard and lasted ages, but it was possible to get the tail out easily even in the dry on...
The man speaks sense, hope your don't get shafted but regardless of whether it is only 4K in money terms to pay out the fact it is modified they may crawl all over - as said if they can avoid a pay out they will.
