LOL - The fade on red cars has nothing to do with most of them fading due to over polishing. Older red cars oxidise/fade because they have no lacquer to stop it, newer cars fade due to the UV rays from the sun effecting the pigment of the basecoat through the clear lacquer.
Depends how durable the wax is though - lots of cars out there done by pros wearing just Vintage or even cheaper waxes such as BOS stand alone over CF or HD Cleanse.
It will be - The speed of the autofocus will be faster and more accurate with the 40D the motor in the lens is just one part of the chain. The AF on the 40D I tried locks onto moving targets faster than my 350D and friends 400D all using my 300mm F4L

I have had good results on dark blues with P21, CG 50/50 and Swissvax Onyx. They all look good the later ones win in durability.
Not sure re. the first question my 182 gets CF and wax, if it lived outside it would get sealant and wax like my daily drive does. All depends on usage and storage.
Should not do, use it to blot and absorb the water rather than wipe as you would a chamois, does get better after a couple of uses...
Had this the other day here:

If you use the CF it will remove the EGP.
You have the choice to use the CF and go straight to the wax or use the AG SRP and EGP then just use the Samurai.
The Onyx is the entry level Swissvax which is why I went for it, It is fine on any colour. Run your fingers round the top of the pot to...
Samurai wax is effectivley a reformulated Onyx for Japanise paint - not sure how much I believe in Marque specific waxes, it should be as good as Onyx though.
Autobahn Wheel Wax is a nice product, use that one myself.
As long as the pint rubber - which is a clay bar is still soft and plyable...
Carlack and Collinite as supplied will work just fine, but putting the EGP and it should see out winter easily and if you already have some personally I would use it as well.
Nice clean up - Wheel refurb and an engine bay clean and it will look good.
Was tempted to get a VTS and try and live with the gash seats and save myself some money over buying a 106 GTi, but the weekend proved I still need a bigger car then the Clio rather than a smaller one :(
Soild colours can be enhanced by the choice of wax as well, not tried it on racing blue but look into Megs #26 which looks superb on other soild colours. Megs #16 also looks good.
All depends on how aggressive a polish is being used. You could safely use a mild polish such as Super Resin Polish by machine on a polishing pad every week if you wanted to.
Some things he mentions are true but some are a touch odd.
As to only machine polishing a car once would leave alarm bells ringing into how much clearcoat he is removing in one polishing session.
