Just finished fitting a Parrot CK3000 bluetooth handsfree to the baby. Briliant bit of kit. Put the mic in the interior light fitting behind the little grill at the front, it used the radio speaker so I wired it into the redundant Reno tweeters and the switch fits next to the light dip dial...
You can, I did that with mine before I could be bothered fitting the x-overs and tweeters but it will not sound nearly as good. Temporary - yes, permanent NO!
Hope this helps :)
Just so were clear, and every second post isnt "so is that an auto then?" ... only auto and semi auto boxes can have a sports mode...cos on a manual gearbox its the driver that changes gear :D.
If you signed the F&F discount and RUK havent approved it then the car wont be sold at that price but thats the Dealers problem, they will have to absorb the loss.
Stick with it. Have a look in your local Yellow pages and contact Citizens Advice. Also see if there is free Legal clinic in your...
How free is the clutch mechanism? Was the entire clutch including bearing replaced or just the plate?
It could be that the gearbox splines need cleaning and greasing (that the clutch runs on) but this should have been done when the clutch was changed). Also the release lever etc may need...
I live above the local Lloyds TSB and park overnight in the customer car park. From my flat I can hear the alarm but thats about it. Cant see the car or car park and there is no security lighting.
Just sent an email to Richbrook telling em their caps are crap. What they need to do is have the...
With my third set of valve caps nicked I bought some Richbrook anti theft caps.
Had them three days, then they got nicked. Crap design they are, theres a grub screw to lock the cap to the valve but it sticks out so they obviously just used a a pair of pliers to unfasten em - as the scratches...
Spend a 2-3k on a car you can insure for 1k or less, you play about fitting ICE, scrape the bumpers and the alloys and in a couple of years trade it in and be ready for a decent motor. Dont get a new car, look for a fairly used 16v but go down to 1.2 or 1.4 and save the insurance.
Ive had a few steering adaptors for my set and they all behave differently, they arent mapped exactly to the way the Renault one works.
Pressing the two vol buttons on the first one I had brought up the tone/balance controls, on the second it activated ATT.
The only probs Im having with the Cobra are that it hasnt been fitted properly. The job was very poor and the car was two hours late. Its back in today for the faults rectifying and I guess Ill be keeping tomorrow night free to refit the trims, radio etc. properly (again).
Now then. I have the wiring for my amp all down the left side of the car. Is it worth me running the RCAs down the right hand side away from the power cable? I would for normal speakers but will there be any evident effect on the sub?
Cheers
Damn right on the price of bulbs. I needed a new fog bulb in my front fog light and Renault have made it a special fitment so Hlafords wouldnt have one. Cost me 30 quid. 30 quid for one bulb!!!!!
There is another post somewhere with similar stuff on it. At the end of the day noone is really going to send 10,200 quid overseas to someone they never even met for a car they havent seen.
I claimed for a new wheel for my bike and the leather jacket I wasnt wearing when I came off.
Wouldnt worry about the councils budget. If the compensation comes to more than the repair costs then if they had sense they would borrow the money to pay for the roads fixing and then compensation...
How do these people feed themselves? They must be on commission so to turn away money like that they must either be thick or be selling so many cars they dont need the money. (I think the former probably).
The doors are easy, as for the dash ones read http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=5&TopicID=95113&PagePosition=2here. Apparently there are tweeters that come with suitable fixings.
I bought my first Clio from Renault Leed. Salesman was great, sale was smooth. There were a few little things I asked to be done on the car gefore I took it, remove a sticker and some other stuff. All done no reminders necessary. Lots of phone calls to keep me informed etc.
When I was in the...
