I wouldnt go for the cheapest quote.
go by reputation, id rather pay 200 for a brilliant job, than 150 for a half decent job.
Cause you will end up just getting it redone..like me:)
I must say, before I had my sub...I wasnt sure about them. But the difference is quite amazing. On my pioneer stereo i can turn the sub on and off, with the sub off...the stereo sounds so flat...with it on...wow:)
that amps so big!
did u ever get half way through your install...with dash hanging off and wires everywhere and think "what the f**k am I doing" hehe:)
Ive decided Im gonna fit my components myself so i spose dash removal will be needed!
you have to upload them to a web space, your isp will prob provide you with some. check their web site.
you can then use an ftp package to upload, i find flashfxp to be the best!
I just cleaned my car, first time after repair...so nice:)
cant belive how good a job renault did at colour coding the car.
They are pretty expensive, but I did get it through my insurance!
gonna get a pic off it
this is true, however bar installing the front components...you dont need the dash off...so do everything else then let them do the components.
Just seems mad to spend 100s of pounds, when you could do it yourself!
bambam thats not really fair.
6x9s on their own are pretty good. If you dont fancy spending money on subs and amps...which many people dont!
they give you quite a bit of volume and some nice bass.
I had mine for a good 5 months on their own and I quite liked them!
Ive always heard the two dont go well together..infact Ive even heard a few systems that didnt sound right because of it.
However just out of interest I left my 6x9s in with the sub..just untill the components arrive.
it sounds alright, but the base from the sub causes the 6x9s to vibrate...
ive heard places charge £200 for that sort of stuff.
Matblack, id adice at least trying it all yourself. You will be suprised at how easy and satisfying it actually is. The only thing Im going to pay someone to do is feed wire from my amp to the front doors, cause 1/ i cant really be bothered...
I use halfords advanced car wash. comes in a massive bottle and is really good.
I use either mer or AG polish depends on the mood
I use AG glass cleaner and air freshener
And i use Armourel for the tyres and dash
I wash my car whenever its needed...i hate nothing more than my car being dirty.
I mind i washed it two days in a row and felt quite obsessive.
I normally just wash with sponge and shampoo, leather chamio, do the wheels, hoover inside and then clean the glass. Takes me about an hour now...
