no its just your stereo cant produce the power the speakers require. so the signal your head unit is sending is actually distorted. think of two lines one above below the wave signal...when you turn the volume up to much and the wave expands and reaches these lines(limits) the signal clips...

tom is your 16v? i thought the older clios were 8v

just got car back, gone from a 35% medium tint, to a 20% dark tint. Looks so much better, suits the black clio so well...although it is illegal...but ach well...:)

cost me 75quid to get them fitted at a local bodystyling place! some normal garages were asking 200+ . i laughed and said "you expect me to pay 200pounds labour for an hours job" *click*

i seen a well neat tweater install..take the cards of the door pillars...use speaker rings, glue them onto the cards...then recloth the whole door card...looked so nice:) bit of work though

tbh I hate people who put the sport badges on 1.2s! Cause as Rob said...the only people who would notice are Clio enthusiasts and we would know it’s a fake! plus you dont want all these extra badges! as for color coding, id say about 200 odd! make sure you get a good company, else youll end...

you can run an amp of the standard head unit....but i wouldnt. spend some money on a decent head unit...then upgrade speakers..if you still aint happy...amp them...then sub...then upgrade the upgraded speakers! thats pretty much how ive done it and i know love my stereo...its like amazing:)...

btw russ, i think i might order some components at the end of the month...hopefully it goes better than last time hehe:)

tbh you deserved it..i have a real hate for people who drive with their fog lighs on. it dazzles other drivers and its illegal...so why do people do it! fair enough if it is actually foggy:) anyway im from livingston, welcome!

im not impressed with the handling on my clio and its been lowered...was worse as standard. i was reading a review on the clio and it says the driving position is all wrong...something about the driver sitting too high. quite dodgy on corners..having driven quite a few cars id prob...
