Worth investing in a CPL (polarising filter) for outdoor shots, as the blues especially are much deeper, and clouds look amazing: Other than getting a tripod (and a remote so you dont have to touch the camera or put the annoying 10sec timer on) I think that shot is probably 10 times as good...

Seriously good find. If that's been pottered about in all its life, I bet that needs a few miles of gently thrashing the hell out of it (once nice and warm!!) to clear the cobwebs out and bed the piston rings in a little haha ! Why do people buy cars like this to do 2k miles a year in ?!

Firstly I would get the timing checked ! Anyone / a garage should be able to do that in a few minutes with a timing gun. Has it had a belt changed recently ? It could have just slipped a tooth or two if the belt is getting old as well... When is it due !?
