How can you be bored of the car ?! I never got bored of mine. It annoyed me at times but nothing major went wrong in 20k miles and it entertained me immensely. Driving Dan's (danny172) stripped / bucketed / Mark Fish'd Ph1 around (usually like I stole it - GTA style, he's in the passenger seat...

Immobiliser relay ? has the alarm been playing about recently ?! Mine did this (the OP) a year or so back .. replaced the relays (under the bonnet IIRC?) and it's been fine ever since. About £3 from Renault. HTH !

+1 on the matched inlets. Best power mod for money on these ! Exhaust + de-cat will see the revs rise a little quicker than standard but probably 0.1hp gain ;-) If the standard tube is on there still, get something like a k-tec stealth on there anyway. How Renault made cheese rust so quickly...
