ah okay...yeah i saw someone saying about putting it in 5th gear at 30mph and flooring it but there was no slipping ect... Would you say best to get the cable replaced by a mechanic, or could be done by someone with some car experience? thanks steph.

I believe i'm going to need a new clutch pretty soon! would anyone recommend the best place? its sitting just under 80 k at the moment... very very heavy clutch.

What would you suggest about the dash strips in the car, mine are silver at the moment, im thinking either carbon fiber wrap or maybe just spraying them the same...

because 1.2's are so slow. granted my 1.4 isnt as fast as a 2.0 obviously, but i had a 1.2 corsa and it was a snail. ive got my 1.4 16v now :)

this isnt my car, But you see where the dash strips are blue? mine are all scratched up and silver .... Do i carbon fibre wrap? and match the badge at the front to match? Or maybe match the strips to the colour of my car, Mines dark blue :) Any suggestions welcome :D

I took a few last night after the clean, going to get them uploaded, it was slightly too dark but ill brighten them up, and i will also get some fresh ones when i finish work at 2! Im excited about this car:) Just such a shame that the insurance on the sports is so expensive, im only 18. :(

Hey :) Brought myself my clio 3 days ago now. Got a few things in mind to do to it... I've got myself a ktec sports exhaust, fitted this the day after i got it Cleaned out the throttle body to sort the idiling, was sitting about 500, and was shaking when i started the car up, Its working...

Lucky i like cars... And i have a boyfriend willing to help! Next step is to lower it, going to try markcup87's 172 standard springs, just want to stiffen the handling up a tad!

I brought a mk2 ph2 1.4 16v 2 days ago, fitted myself a nice ketc sports exhaust, gave the throttle body a clean as it was caked in rubbish so that sorted out the idiling pronolem, (markcup87 did this actually), gave It a nice clean tonight and took it to a car park for some pictures, it's a bit...

I've got the sports version, with the centre silencer... It does sound awesome ! :)

Markcup87 (bf) fitted this for me yesterday, absolutely love it, it sounds great, nothing too loud but just enough! defiantly recommend it!
