The starter could be stuck on the flywheel ringear. With ignition off, put it in 4th & push it back & forwards a bit. If that's the problem you should hear the starter click off from the gear. Hope that helps
That looks lovely! What did you use for the wheels? My daughter has a 1.2 Dynamique in black just like yours & I would like to do the wheels for her
Just noticed the gear lever as well-great
You are so much smoother & faster through the bends, but he pulls away on the straight, well done to get past him in the end! I don't usually like these track videos, but I watched all of that!
Looks really nice, I had an XR3i (MK3) in 86 & another (MK4) in 90 both black. Never got a Turbo, but a friend of mine had an XR2 Turbo. Even the XR3 didn't hang around as they are so light compared to modern cars.
Both my daughters have a Clio
Age 20 has Mk2 Ph 1 1.2 8v got when she was 17
Age 18 has Mk 2 Ph 2 1.2 16v got when she was 17
Both want a 182 but can't bear to get rid of first car!
I had something similar on a Golf GTI, where the back end would really step out of line alarmingly. Cured it by having a 4 wheel alignment setup. Not cheap, but well worth it.
If it sounds like the flaps are moving, but nothing happening, then it could be the cogs that move it have split. You have to take it apart & put a zip tie around it. I did it to my daughters Clio & it fixed it. I'll see if I can find the link.
I don't get why so many people seem to hate this. If all the Clio's were the same it would be boring. I like him doing something different to everyone else. My daughters black/black is lost in any car park
