I was in the same position as you when i got my bridge (Fuji S5800) about 18 months ago. I considered a D-SLR but couldn't justify the cash and knew I'd probably get bored after 3 months anyway :evil: I loved the little Fuji and it was perfect for me for holiday trip, which is why i bought it...
