Yes he did take me for a test drive, i nearly messed myself, he is a very good driver indeed. That test drive pretty much sold me as well. I go in their every so often and have a chat, he told me that he was testing that ECU and was trying to find out details on the other mods.

The guywho sold me my cup was sent the R-sport ECU and has it fitted to his Cup, he said it seems to give a big improvement in torque as well as adding 500 rpm to the rev limiter. He was quoted that it will give an extra 20 bhp, although that it obviosly debatable!

Just got my copy of Evo mag and they tested the Cup, 172 and V6 around Bedford Autodrome, the lap times where most suprising with the Cup beating the V6 and the std 172 giving the V6 a damn close run for its money. Lap times were: Cup 1.26.30 V6 1.28.45 172 1.28.85 Most off this they say...

Laking the comfort of the "real deal 172" ok fair enough its is! Just a cheapo option really, maybe its just good value for money That will leave you wanting more, more what? the ability to lower and raise the temperature by pushing a button?

Why knock the cup just because it is lacking a few extras! Essentially its the same car, looks similar outside looks the same inside apart from the seats. Its slightly quicker and handles slighlty better, so why knock it? Your really insulting your own as as well!

Had my Cup for 4 weeks now and have booted it from day 1 i couldnt resist. Even had the back end out a couple of times. I love the feeling when you drop it to second at 40 mph and floor it, this car just begs to be driven fast.
