ahhhhhh that would explain why im always in the "thorpes" as im working for kier on council properties. lol I dont think much of any of the estates tbh. Heeley green, the manor, arberthourne. All "interesting" places to be lol
Lol i also live in the midlands and work in Sheffield...I commute daily though. What is it with that place and places ending in thorpe? Jordanthorpe, upporthorpe, waterthorpe etc. Funny.
Im with o2 and have been for about 6months now. Im on their 16mbit package and i must say its been brilliant. Can download at 1.6mbit day and night. Great pings, can play on xbox live with absolutely no problem and on call of duty i get chosen as the host 9times out of 10 as my upload is so...
Ive been running on Vpower/Tesco 99Ron for 6months or so. Cant say ive noticed a great deal of difference i do however run the car with a 98ron map so figure its for the best if i stick to the good stuff.
TBH i wish id bought a 172 and saved a couple of grand. Same car bar the exhaust, colour selection and minor suspension difference. Having said that i love my 182 and i personally do like the twin exhausts.
I had to have my dephaser pulley replaced when i had my cambelt changed. Cost approx £560 for the cambelt change and dephaser pulley at Birchdown. Thing the dephaser was approx £120
Ahh, just looks like the links not been done right. Email Henk - info@fastchip.nl
I'm sure hell either correct the links or email you the files. Hes normally very helpfull whenever ive spoke to him
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
Surely he wont drop the price by a grand? I'd offer £2000 and meet in the middle at £2250 based on 1st glance. Although the lack of history and jobs needed would concern me.
What exactly does it need? Proof of cambelt change?
Ok, will look into this. Hopefully the other 182 owner will be able to post his map. Im pretty sure his torque curve was very similar. Is it a possibility its down to the dyno/operator?
I think hes done the run in 3rd as it hit the limiter at 98mph according to the graph. If it were 4th i think it would be closer to 120mph.
The torque curve on the other 182 was very similar to mine. The other 182 had a btb exhaust, yozza decat, rs tuning remap.
Yeah, i think the rollers were a little generous tbh but its funny how the meggys seemed to read on the low side. The 197's gave a mixed bag as well. Standard low mileage 197 got 203 bhp yet a modded (cammed) 197 only got 206.
Car is standard bar matched inlets, ptfe gaskets and rs tuner map
Really pleased with my results. 189.1bhp and 177.1 lbft torque. Another 182 there also achieved an impressive 186bhp. Mapped meggy's however only seemed to get around 250ish bhp. The highest result whilst i was there was an R32 which got an impressive 270bhp.
Heres a photo of my graph -
If your max budget is £3.5k then in my opinion you would be better looking at a slightly older 172. Im pretty sure you could get a 53plate 172 with cruise control and esp for around that price. Mileage would prob be 60k ish as well.
