Mines being done at Renault tommorow. Its in for some warrenty work on the headlight washers so asked them to MOT it at the same time. Fingers crossed.
Hope they dont fail it for having no washer fluid or ill be having a word seen as its in for leeking headlight washers lol
Are you for real? Your deeming the car as troublesome because of that? Aux and cam are routine servicing...yes its expensive to do on the 172's but its only every 5 yrs. As for tyres....all cars need tyres.
Take it you went the cat n fiddle then? The roads running from leek - buxton - sheffield are all good stuff although i tend to keep to the quiter roads around longnor etc
The DCI in the forsale section doesnt reverse due to the gearbox being knackered so hardly a fair comparason.
I must admit i thought the price was a little high for what it was. I sold my 1.2 51plate with 60k ish on 2 yrs ago for £3k. Id be expecting to pay about 2.2k ish now
Lol They Class the V6 as "3.0 V6 Turbo Sport".
Will have a butchers, but is this site anything to do with you? Your post sounds very much like an advert :)
These are 2 professional tuners who are initially developing this at their own expense with the foresight that this mod will make them alot of cash in the future.
Hardly a couple of lads doing this mainly in their spare time.
Best bet is just to research your competitors, find out what they charge and either charge a similar amount or undercut them to start off with to incentivise potential customers.
Any interior shots of the TT? I was seriously looking at getting a TT a few months ago but decided to keep the 182 after spending £500 on a cambelt change i felt i ought to enjoy the car a little first. Kinda wish id got one now lol
Both cars look great mate. How did the TT fair against the R26?
I think the next step is to weigh your car and get it rolling roaded. Then the bhp/ton can be worked out and that will either prove or disprove your claims of sitting up the ass of a 172.
Also wouldnt the 172 have had drag to contend with with being infront and your slipstreaming him? I know...
For the front brakes just leave the old pad in and put a g clamp over to push the piston back. The rears as said above just put a screw driver across and wind back.
If you look in the guide section im sure theres a brake bleeding guide in there. Its a much easier job with two people tbh
As title really guys. I have stock 182 (cup packed) suspension. What are the pro's and con's of a GOOD set of solid top mounts eg AST? (heard bad things about compbrake)
Thanks, Russ
When i got my foam lance there was a joint was loose and would twist loose and when tightened by hand the bottle would be sideways when in the pressurewasher. So in the end i got my pipe grips, prayed nothing would snap and tighted the bugger up nearly a full turn so it all sat right when in the...
Ive seen this car driving around Bentilee in Stoke-on-Trent. Anyone from stoke will know this is a pikey area (90+% council properties).
God knows how this guy has been able to afford and run a vee. Hes had it a couple of years unless its changed owners and stayed local.
If you dont mind me asking Justin what do you do for a living?
I remember you had a TVR and Meggy before which whilst theyre nothing compared to the Gallardo arent particularly cheap cars. I aspire to own something like that one day.
Just get yourself a set of brembo hc's or max if you want grooved disks. Those are more than likely cheap crap that will crack if you push them remotely hard.
lol its a 1.6 and its putting out 140bhp as well as being stripped to near an inch of its life. It needs a little bit more stopping power than the standard 1.6 brakes provide imo.
