Sigma 10-20mm is awesome .. for shots like this (found here): and... Canon 55-250 IS is also amazing for the price ! Mine is very sharp. Quite light .. and takes cracking photos ... ... like that, even at full power :) 50mm is next on my hitlist... Not sure the F1.4 is worth 4x that...

Earlier that day, we'd been go-karting and stopped at a church nearby to get some photos. The car looked like this: Popped down to the nearest beach, chosen at random to fly my 3m power-kite, leaving the Clio in a practically empty car park for an hour. We wander back to the car...

defo the aerial as mine did it too !! take interior light out .. unbolt the aerial and see if you can see a prob .. if not, fill it up with silicone and seal back down properly :)
