Think I possibly spotted a trophy around there earlier today .. tinted windows ?

K-tec stealth .. de-catted. It's pretty noisy when idling and cold. When floored it sounds loud .. and under load, around 3k it can get a bit much, reverb'ing around the cabin and such... but when not on load, i.e: at 70 on the motorway, it's almost unnoticeable !

I weighed my spare 15" OZ with brand new tyre on at just under 17kg ! Rotating weight has an equivalent mass of approx. 6 times, so when rotating at speed, 17kg becomes 102kg (per wheel) and 15.5kg becomes 93kg ! So you can see the differences already... :cool:

My 172 doesn't have / need TC. Went out in a friends ASBO (08 Focus ST) and the stupid TC kicked in all over the place (even when in 3rd gear) making it feel like it had a misfire. Was not good at all...!

Hiya ! Yeah it was a huge PiTA .. I've thought about a nice cheap squidgy one, or even a Cupra one (not sure whether that will look good?) but at least that's only 30 quid if it goes bang :dead: ! Nothing planned really... more speed perhaps ? Re-map if I can be bothered... if not .. new car...
