i don't see how tbh. it's not henks fault someone told mike the old tuner would work with all the maps. iirc it's just the overrun (pop & bang) maps that don't work on the old tuner.

don't be too harsh, what's the other alternative- fail the mot and either get stung by the garage putting it right or another driver on the road with no mot/insurance/tax!

knocking is probably the cv joint which is bolted on the end of the driveshaft. any advisories from your last mot?
