f**king hell that's made a right mess. We used to play football in the street as kids and any car on the road was fair game. We did get a warning when a police light on a Sierra got broken😂.

Any battery with the same code on will work. Either pay with blood at a dealer or try argos. Does the car start with the key card in your pocket or do you need to put it in the slot? If it works in your pocket I'd suggest the battery is OK. Does the central locking work OK with the physical key?

Can't help, but mine is the same and very annoying. I assume it's to do with the motor drive for the hot/ cold selector which has a known issue you can find the solution to in the guides section.
