I think your major problem, bar the pics of it in bits, is the price. Vish sold his recently, a 2003 model with similar miles/cambelt, etc, for £2100. And that was a real struggle down here in Surrey, oop nurth, you'll get even less.

Are you sure on that battery mount Phil, im not sure i'd trust that little strap to stop the battery flying forwards & taking your head off!!! Personally, id want it fully enclosed. Good work on the camera mount though, thats the type of thing id do, if i could be bothered ;)

The front Sachs dampers are fully adjustable from the factory, but Renault put a 'pin' in them to lock the damping position to a certain setting. Remove pin. Full adjustment :D

This suspension update contains a serious amount of awesomeness.

Purely as at the start of, & finish of, a 10 hour day at work, the last u want to do is bounce down tje road in a slow, uncomfortable rattly sh1tbox. Trust me, ive done 35k a year in a 1*2, buying a barge was the best thing i ever did.

F*ck doing 112 miles a day in a clio/corsa derv. You want a 306/406 derv imho. 45-50 mpg & great to drive/comfy.
