Problem with fairy liquid is it dries out plastics, would not say there is anything really fancy about a bottle or Autoglym Interior Cleaner which can be used on most things in the interior.

Good read, would not say that the 182 feels nose heavy though.

Autoglym Super Resin and Extra Gloss Protection (EGP) are a good way to go. A couple of coats of the EGP should see him get a good few months protection.

Have a look over on Detailing World, people that have used it have not been impressed.

Would not use Megs APC that strong I only Use it 4:1 on wheels. 10:1 will be find inside. I would probably go for Autoglym Interior Cleaner on everything then dress the plastics with Poorboys Natural Look.

Shame it does not last.

Poorboys one works well - cheaper, easier to apply than the Blackfire, looks nearly as good, but not quite as well lasting.

You wont get the Klasse All in One in Halfords but you will the Scratch X. Of the shelf I would use Scratch X and Autoglym Super Resin, neither will cut through oxidised paint as effectively and as quicker as the Klasse will though. You could also try some Meguiars DC1 Paint cleaner as that...

Mostly oxidisation I would expect so a chemical cleaner like Klasse All In One is a better option than cutting paint back by hand. Use Meguiars Scratch X as needed on any defect areas.

For the money Swisswax Onyx or Chemical Guys 50/50 will look better and outlast any other waxes disscussed so far. If you want ultimate durability Meguiars 16 or Collinite would be the choice but they lack the looks of the above and of the P21s even. You have EGP on there which is good for...

First one wont have enough power to correct defects. Second one is proper Rotary once mastered will produce PC beating results, the mastering bit is the hard bit. Has the the element of being able to do paint damage more easily than the PC.

Not many will stand up to rain. Best two I have found a Blackfire Long lasting Tyre Gel or Poorboys Bold and Bright Dressing. Autoglym Tyre Dressing looks great but lasts about a day - ideal for shows. Meguiars Endurance atracks dirt like nothing else and splatters up the car.
