You should have been able to get the same levels of LOO in the 172 and 182 with the ESP off. The 306's longer wheel base means it is more gracefull and less snappy than in the 1*2's which do it in a more 205 esque way.

Factory colour on Pug Calipers was gold hence the paint choice. Black with a touch of silver in it would be my choice on yours.

My G4 here is older than yours Rich (Dual 450) and runs 10.4.9 fine - get that upgraded. Will be keepig it alongside the my Mac Pro still when when I upgarde to a MAc Pro here at home.

Brand new tyres have mould release wax on them from the processes used to make them - will take 150-200 miles before they are cleaned up nicely.

Save your money IMO, just get a good Sealant like Autoglym Extra Gloss on there - Worth doing a search discussed a fair bit on here.

Seating postition and relationship with the wheel are much better on the 306, would not swap my old XSi for the 182 though. Driving a normal 306 everyday even the seating postion in that is better than my 182. Standard v Standard I much prefer the 172/182 over a GTi 6 handling wise.

Try some Autoglym Glass Polish to deep clean the screen well. If they are scratches it will be very hard to correct.

Found the sme aeven applied very thin and buffed after. Also was a dust trap so I stopped using it.

Long term it is the right choice.

Need to go down the Intel route to get the most out of CS3, one of the new intel imacs would be better suited than the mini, but as Daz says a Mac Pro is the best option, well worth the outlay, mine at work is better than the G4's we had there and mine at home.

I think Riz on here has tried at least 2 of the 3. From what I have read the 53 is not as nice as the 50/50 so have not bothered.

Yep as above -Depends what colour, I always match the factory colour the best I can, just looks clean and fresh then.

Bridge is must quicker, the apps all open Quicker, and Illustrator seems much more stable, left it open now for weeks rather than chrashing every hour, not been that stable since v.8 IMO.

The Satin Black Hammerrite Smooth works well.

Done away with fetch since that screen grab, Transmitt is much better.

In bulk I use Meguiars Shapmpoo Plus or Hyper Wash. On my 182 current choices are Swisswax Car Bath or Duragloss Wash though.

Using Transmit here, much better than Fetch which I was using before.

They speak sense.

Got mine the other week.

Wash and Clay and see how you go from there. If that does not work you will need to step up to a cleaner with some bite.
