To thick or left on in the sun for even a little while and it will be a nightmare.
Applied in an evening when it is cool, garaged over night and wiped off the next morning and you should be fine.
Works fine left on for a few hours - The longer you leave it on (in a garage not in the sun!) the easier it wipe off.
I leave mine on overnight in the garage all the time and then remove the next day, then you have to wait another 12 hours before the next layer.
Just wipe it over the whole car with a foam hand pad in a very very thin even coat, no need for excess pressure. Allow to cure for at least 45-60 mins and remove with a microfiber cloth.
Thin as you can as anything you remove is excess wasted product, wack it on thick or in the sun and it will...
Depending how deep the etching is, no point wet sanding if you don't need too - on Renault paint they can be corrected by hand at times so the PC should sort them.
LOL at claying being fool proof probably the most easist way to damage your paint there is when done wrong.
Rotary's are cheap compared top a PC, though a decent one is about the same price as a PC but can be purchased in 240v. But as above A PTG is a must.
PC is a random orbit machine head spins and occilates, push down on it and the motor will bog and slow to stop you burning paint.
Rotary just spins and spines and wont bog down under pressure so means you can burn paint easier, also spins faster than a PC which makes for faster and more...
I found them worst on damp roads, bone dry or standing water and they where ok, the middle ground (typical UK damp road conditions) and they where utter dog shite.
LOL - I put mine away in the garage after a coat earlier and the garage smells nice now too.
Most paste Carnuba's (Nattys Blue and Megs 16 excluded) are all easier to remove than any liquid waxes or sealants.
Looks good , nice work- not sure why you thought it would be hard to use - most user friendly Carnuba wax I own, why all waxes can't be as easy I will never know.
Looking average as ever Alan.
All the Black Gold lot and the PC's out before FCS! - Did the roof on mine today just the tailgate and lower parts to do now.
