Scratch X in most cases needs a few applications and to be worked in small areas. The bonnet would need to be sivided into at least 8 smaller areas. As the others have said you must work it till it has nothing left to remove.
With the SRP a 20 pence sized blob should easily do a door or quarter...
LOL!
I planned to do some panning there (Avon Rise) on the way back to the car in the afternoon but the sun was all wrong. I was playing around on the entry and exit to the Esses, and failing on the slower shutter speed stuff dismally. Thanks for the tip will play about when they are going a...
Buy a 205 GTI, just Lift off mid bend on any turn with a decent amount of lock on and you will find some LOO - wet or dry, sod needing mud or heavy braking.
Not found a Chemical Guys Sealant that lasts as long as Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection or Klasse SG. They get my vote if your looking for long term protection.
As Justin says a bit of Lift off oversteer can be easily achieved. Find somewhere nice and wide and free of curbs to try it out though .... racetrack maybe lol
Worth a shot as it gives a clear wet glossy work, how much difference you will see on Silver I am not sure. Just washed the 306 and polished one panel, it did not look any different so stopped left the rest!
Cracking pics Chris - good to chat to you yesterday.
Still sorting through mine. Nice work on the 1/50 pans. I was doing much the same. 1/100 - high chance of a keeper, 1/80 - very few keepers, maybe a couple, 1/60 - none :(
I have a few of the Clios and other french stuff (Saxo's, R5's, 205...
The second layer has probaly not done much apart from ensuring even coverage - AG say to leave it 12 -24 hours between layers to allow it to set up and bond.
I would rewash the car and then try and remove it.
Clean and Shiny are the only place that seem to be doing P21s at the moment. They also have the rest of the other stuff, bar EGP which is a Halfords thing.

The Car Bath leavs a great finish, so as long as the lack of suds/foam does not bother you - you will be fine.
I have been pre foaming mine first with Megs Shampoo Plus then the 2 bucket wash with the Swissvax.
Go for a Snow Foam product through it if you want lots of Foam, most use Autobrite Snow Foam or the Clean and Shiny Stuff.
Most other shampoos will work but wont give you the foam the above will. I just use Megs Shampoo Plus through mine.
