Guys,
Im getting a set of 16v brakes (calipers, discs and that) off a fellow member soon. I just want to know a couple of things..
1. Will the brakes be an upgrade from the standard 1.4S brakes??
2. Will they fit straight onto my 1.4S without any fettling?
Cheers

I dont want to go stupidly low. just want the wheels to fil the arches more and for it to handle better..
So someone answer me how much?!!?!?!?!?!?!!?
i thought about 40.. what u reckon?
My dad asked me if i want anything doing to my car for xmas. Ive weighed up the options and come up with these:
Lowering
Induction kit
New Alloys (maybe, already got 15s on)
Sound system (head unit, sub, 6x9s and amp package from max power)
Bucket Seats
They are the options so...
cheers guys, ive had a look at elephant.co.uk.. they quoted me £1500 TPFT. Which isnt bad.
I was also thinking about confused.com, nowrich union are fairly cheap (my current insurer) and i saw an ad on tv for hyperformance or somthing so ill have a look around.

Currently drive a 1.4S mk1, im 19, dont have a NCB but i havent had an accident in the 2 years ive been driving. No convictions or anything. Just wondered if you lot could suggest any companies that may be able to insure me.
Im after starting my...
that valver is a bit too far away to just "go and look" but the rsi is not very far from me..
doesnt look like either of them are an option.. ill keep looking..
cheers ian.. id already thought about the cost of fixing it.. i was just getting a second opinion..
Tony: I saw that one as well.. but i wouldnt get insured on a valver just yet. Although that seems cheap.. how much is a cambelt to fix?

How the hell have u managed to...
OHhhhhh theres a track day at donny!?!?!
I gotta go!! £95 sounds fairly good!! I went on the track there on the way out from the moto GP, and in the wet i spun out on Coppice
I considering that!
traction control is overrated, ive never liked it, especially on really slippy surfaces (ice, wet mud) your always better off using your driving "skillz" to get out of it.
I like ice anyways, good fun in winter. coming down a hill near my house, its always icey in winter, put the handbrake on...
The heatsheild on my dads brand new laguna started rattling after he hit a flood, it got dislodged and became loose..
he took it to a garage and they just put new screws in i think, its easy enough to do.. heatsheild rattled on my first clio, so i just ripped it off.. didnt have any trouble
