    Blazing Inferno!

I like Inferno in the Sun, was saing the smae to Lee and a few others at the Mids meet yesterday. Even in the sun I still have not seen it looking quite as bright as you get it on your Camera. Looking at the skys in the pics your camera does capture a really rich colour. In fact going back to...

Not 100% sure on the location, it is Bredon Hill in the background, road the pics where taken on was of the Eckington to Bredon road.

He still has the Vee, though last I heard he had left the hadbrake off and it rolled into something and needed paint.

Agreed on the Cheltenham thing spot loads but no one on here. There is a Monaco Blue 172, a Silver MK1 V6 and a Mondial Blue 172 around Tewkesbury alot but they are not members on here.

Grabbed a few pics of the car on the way back from the Mids meet earlier when I took the alternative scenic route back home to Gloucestershire. http://www.richtreen.co.uk/events/cs_mids_june/

    Blazing Inferno!

Stunning - Looks great in the sun, still think your camera flatters the colour though ;)

Just a few of the Wednesfield meet.

I decided to find a more scenic route back to the 'shire' rather than the M6/M5 boringness all the way home.

    Classic Clio

But the Mk2 Vee is said to be a better car, and seems to be the one people desire ?

    b****cks - EGP

Allow the car to cool, and remove the remaining EGP with some Quick Detail spray. Another thin layer of EGP this evening when it is cool would also sort it.

    Classic Clio

Chances are someone somewhere will have a standard Williams on either delivery mileage up to maybe 2K tucked away in a garage, Renualt gave them them 3 chances to do it aswell! I know of at least one late non cat 205 GTi sat in a 'bubble' like the above.

    Can you PC windscreens?

I treat glass as I do paintwork on the whole.

    Classic Clio

Any decent hot hatch that was at the top of it's game during it's era will be regarded as classic in time. Be it a mint Phase 1 172, 172 Cup or 182 Trophy when they become scarce some one some where will want a specific one down to there tastes. For someone that loves 182's but hates Red will...

    A few Inferno bits

Agree with you on the gearknob, trims work well and the factory satin look is spot on.

    paint spray or power coating?

I dont like the finish you get from powder coated wheels, normal basecoat and laquered sprayed on gives a much nicer finish and gloss.

What wax should I apply after using Auto Glym Polish?

I apply all Carnuba's apart from Megs 16 by hand. I have Swissvax Onyx, Saphir and Best of Show and for me are all worth the money, each one looks better than the prevous. The Onyx for the money can not be beaten, no other wax's in the same price bracket come close, it even surpasses more...

    Dilemma!!

P21s is a great all rounder, hard to beat on Silver and light to mid Blues, can be bettered on Darker colours. See if there is a local Harley Davidson dealer for a pot od S100 which is the same as P21s.
