why would you not do it to spec though? 40nm + 110deg +/- 15deg from memory
it IS a strech bolt too contary to what some people think, it says so in the sodding renault book!
I always change the crank bolt when doing a cambelt
the super touring days were mental, IIRC the mondeo was the most expensive touring car on the grid! £500K or something barmy like that!
£25K a bumper, £100K+ per engine, £80K for a gearbox etc etc
mega money when than manufactures were REALLY on board, F1 in tintops basically
i only see one decent one listed ;)
and yes we did do a fair bit of ye olde dyno testing, track testing, sound testing yada yada including a stint at Mira believe it or not!
Whack crack pipe are they smoking?
there is no cam sensor on a 172/182, only the VVT actuator plunger thingy (why that needs a new bolt i would have NO idea)
he did say 3/4/5 of may, only just gone the 5th today, blame it on the volcano? ;)
i'll ring the manufacture tomorrow for you lot and see what's happening
the effort involved, plus the manifold and decat pipe vs sod all peak gain and maybe a wee splash of torque = no thanks
oh and my car car doing 190bhp@fly (160@wheels) with a 172 manifold and a phs1 cat ;)
