get yourself a vibe 12inch with intergrated amp mate. far superiour in my eyes. or infinity sub with jbl amp if you dont mind a seperate amp and sub :)

i did look at the becker...but looks TOO oem for my liking. im not bothered about having an all singing all dancing maxpower fan boy headunit but not quite than far down the scale either. i like the look of the alpines and the pioneer jay mentioned further up the thread.

ive also been looking at the lower end of the range such as http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/3224.html will i really notice a big difference in performance for £100 more i will be running 2xjbl amps from the headunit (1x600watt 4 channel and 1x400watt 2 channel)

hi, looking at buying some 172 16inch alloys for my 51 plate clio expression, anyone know if these will fir straight on without any probs? presume the car will ride like a tractor with them on until its lowered but other than that will it be ok?

id drop the front and rear comps for a set of infinity kappas upfront, can be picked up for £100 on ebay, and in halfords etc u pay £100 just for the infinity refernce series (there lowest model...still good though)

my stereo isnt listed under the pioneer radio interface so unsure if its compatable with that lead :(

just wondering is it possible to pop the current tweeter grills of or is it a must that i have to remove the hole top of the dash? wana replace my current tweeters with my infinity comps at somepoint, prob will have the tweeters in the current tweeter position but will loose the oem tweeter...

hi, just been installing my ice into my new motor....just wondering whats the best way to mount the amp? in my pug i mounted it on the back of the seat...however the clio doesnt seem to allow me to do this (doesnt grip)? i have heavy duty velcro on the back of the amp but dont trust this it...

pointless thread just to say ive finally picked up my clio, only a 1.2 expression but its got about the same power as my 1.4 8v pug 206 if not more. car was an absolute pleasure to drive, and suprisingly quite for a 1.2 even at decent speed, far quiter than the 206 ever was. no alloys or...
