cheers guys, could be the start of a few subtle mods. im on the standard 14s just now and the 172 wheels are 15s so shouldnt be too much of a difference
Folks,
my mate is selling his 172 mk1 wheels after getting 17s and hes offering me a good price. I have a v plate metallic dark red 1.4 3dr and wondering if any of you have put these wheels on normal clios. What did u think, did they suit it ok?
Cheers,
Kenny
Unlucky mate
The folks who said it was photoshopped should apologise! Altho after you had mentioned it I had another look and I could see where you were coming from! But the latest pic shows it definitely was another idiot not looking where they are going.
What saddos would want to send in...
forget that last comment, i forgot he currently has a 1.4 clio. If only I had a rich daddy, some of us have to pay for things ourselves.........ouch bitchy!!
Have any of you had problems with the handbrake on ur clios after the car has been washed or it has been raining?
A couple of weeks ago on a morning after I had washed my car, I was setting off and the handbrake wouldnt release from the left rear axle. This is even tho the handbrake light is...
I agree - Car washing/polishing is great to relieve stress. When I had the old uni exams and was panicking id get the bucket and sponge out and spend a good few hours getting the Clio clean.
Also, I only let me wash the POW!!
Also, saw a couple of clios at the show whose owners go to Napier. One of them was a nice black one with a good kit on it, X reg. Was inside beside about 3 other Clios. Guy was in some of my classes. Nice motor son!
15 bucks for that nonsense!!! It was OK, but my mate said to me that we could have polished up our clios and showed them! Also, I agree about the wee @rses that were there with their Buckfast.
I saw a 1.2 5 door grey clio that was only lowered and had an exhaust, still had the standard 14s...
Accelerating too fast - What a pile of nonsense these pigs can deal!
I was taught to accelerate quite quickly when learning to drive in a 1.9D Clio. Maybe my old instructor is driving a 182 now!!
Folks,
was very p****d off yesterday, took my clio down to get the back box replaced. When I took it down to the garage, they told me that because the exhaust pipe was hitting the bumper (as the back box was trailing on the ground), my bumper had got damaged. Had a look at it when I got home...
Jesus, when you said MAC30L, I thought I recognised it somewhere! Yeh I remember it now, didnt know his bro, but got on well with Gaz!
I liked his bros car very much!
If Gary saw me, hed try and race me, he had the advantage tho cause he knew the bloody roads!! The ex would give me a row if...
Just looked at the link for your pics, was looking at ur small pic under your username!! Duuuuhhh, must be getting late!!! lol
Cant get to Crail tomorrow either, working as well :-(
Finished with that girl about a year ago, but was up a lot for the 2 years b4 that. She lived in Claremont is...
yeh badinvincible is one of them! I had my clio first before he even had his 1.2 16v xtrame!
Is your clio dark blue in the pic mate? I passed a dark blue clio with subtle mods going the opposite way at the start of the week on the a89 behind halls, ring any bells?
Wasnt at Falkirk either. Used to go thru there sometimes when I was seeing a girl in Alloa.
Wheres the Livi one about mate? I used to go to the one at Hermiston Gate in Edin and of course the oldie Strathy Park!
EvilJohn great minds mate, that is where i am heading on Mon! Small world! They are not bad down there!
My clio is dark red v reg and ends in pow, reason for my name! My car is standard, was thinking bout modding it but decided just to save for 172/182 instead! Thats the reason Im not at Club...
