The thing is, its inevitable that you will be using a Mac sooner rather than later when going into that industry. Its probably worth getting onboard now, and buying an iMac for £900. Rather than a desktop for say £400, OS for £70 and display for £200, your not that far off! And in 3 years time...

Seems expensive. The processor is quite old now, memory isn't much if your doing graphic work, HDD isnt too large, OS is old (but still a good OS, I'd have xp over vista or 7 any day). What graphics card does it have? And does it include a nice display which is bumping the price up?

Most people have an iphone or android these days, so just tether if your out. Thats what I do. You dont need 3g imo.

Unplug the wire that goes into the ignitor on the back of the lamp, its at the top and slides in. Then replug it in and see if it works, if it does then the ignitor has gone, and is easy to change :)

s**t, gave them a chance to redeem themselves the other month and left in under a month, very poor coverage, and when I got signal it was slow. O2 seem the best for me, followed by orange.
