Glad I'm not the only one by the sounds of it. As Silent says, it appears to be change for the sake of change, rather than adding anything constuctive. Also, the paradox that Malachi mentioned too. I'm sure 99% of players would prefer Valve's energies to be poured into decent sequels rather than...
That's weird? Unless the the analogue part of the card (such as the connector) is fooked? It should happily work in both analogue and digital. A good 80%+ of our dual screen setups use a VGA and DVI conenction.

Lol - WTF?! That's serious commitment there. I had to wait three months after I'd ordered mine. But to have it sat there and not be able to use it - ney chance! ;)

Proper bargain for that price! Last time I played it, I didn't really have the PC spec for it - yep it was that long ago. Can consume weeks given the chance...
Boosh - check out the pricing at Play.com if you want the Mac version. Erm, lol...
Clear cut ratio there. The more expensive the machine, the cheaper it is to print - and vice versa. Mind you, in a three month period at work, we did 32,000+ colour prints and that knocked on the door of £2.9k. Ouch.
OP - glad you convinced the old man that you were right all along - lol. :)

I'll buy it. Probably a repeat prescription of playing, completing and loving the SP campaign. Then trying online for about an hour and be within an ant's todger of smashing my PC to bits.
All COD games follow that same pattern for me. It simply is THE most frustrating online game ever created.

Having been away from it for quite some time, I decided to give it another go. The OTT action and cartoon approach to the graphics were a great alternative to the more mainstream FPSs, imo.
But something's changed. Aside from all the equipable items (did we really need them in the first place?)...
Wasteland (C-64)
Wizball (C-64)
Dropzone (C-64)
Forbidden Forest (C-64)
The Last Ninja (C-64)
Buggy Boy (Amiga)
Wings (Amiga)
Rocket Ranger (Amiga)
Stunt Car Racer (Amiga)
Dungeon Master (Amiga)
M1 Tank Platoon (Amiga)
Rainbow Islands (Amiga)
Golden Axe (Amiga)
Just some I could think of at...
This really. And the rears are a piece of piss to swap out on a 182. I swapped my rears last year (?) after the nearside rear pissed it's oil out. I didn't even think for one minute of replacing just the one - I got two new rears and genuine Reno ones at that.

Just because it hasn't got VATS...... :rasp:
Aye - No. 3 Complete was a superb compilation. Some of the best music I've heard in a PC game too - despite its age. Glad you agree that IV was complete turd!

Almost missed this! Looks like its due this March. Having been a fan of three of the previous games (I never played the first one and HOMM IV sucked, tbh ;)) - I'm hoping this continues the great tradition of HOMM V.

Awesome. I'm sure you'll do the FRS justice, but that Scooby looked pure filth.
When not making 872cc shitboxes - the Japs really do have a flair for design, imo.

Nope, not that one. This is a lovely silvery colour with a 155mm centrally located howitzer for an exhaust. Genuinely horrendous. I'll try and nab a pic tomorrow - assuming it's not been torched before then.
