    Electric window help please

Have you used a test meter to test the continuity of the wires? They're about £5 delivered off eBay and are invaluable when chasing niggly (typical Renault) faults.

    Cleaning an induction kit filter?

I have one on my driveway, I'll check* *in two weeks when I'm back off holiday... x

    Cleaning an induction kit filter?

If your car has a MAF sensor in the induction pipe it's not advisable to fit Air filters that require oil. The oil sticks to the sensor wire and causes havoc. (My Subaru has one, as did my fabia)

Swapping for a civic type r?

I've just taken an ep3 in part exchange and i lasted about 30 minutes before I put it back on the drive and took something else. Don't see what all the fuss is about at all.

How could this happen to my bonnet?

Looks to me like there's too much paint. That edge looks like it's swimming in it!

    New Car....Again...E46 M3

That's at the upper end of the scale then. We charge £90 a wheel to have the tyres removed, acid dipped, shot blasted, powder coated, faces diamond cut and the whole wheel lacquered. When people (even us!) just paint the faces, I'm never 100% happy with it.

    New Car....Again...E46 M3

When you say standard, is that having them diamond cut? Or just painted and lacquered?

Racing Blue 182 - Super Low Miles - Ebay

Meh. Cup's aren't all that desirable imo. And they need to be standard if they are, but that one has washer jets fitted for some stupid reason. Most people want rid of the leaky things! Lol

    Nurburgring setup

Surely having a lively back end is what makes these cars fun?? if you're racing or chasing lap times then I can see why you'd not want it, but I personally love how lively the back ends are on these. It's what makes them.

    Best sub-£50 wax for 2017?

£10 to cover postage? You'll need your own applicator though, I dropped mine and didn't want the risk so binned it.

    Best sub-£50 wax for 2017?

I have a 3/4 full pot of Zymol Carbon if you want it? I don't get chance to wash my car let alone wax it. May as well go to good use somewhere.

This M4 is in being cleaned ready for collection later. Got some funky seats and steering wheel. Looks expensive! (I can't photo the whole car as it belongs to a customer...)

    clio 1.8 16v or 172

This. Valvers (even tidy ones) are forever costing money. To buy a cheap tatty one to do up over an already tidy one makes no financial sense. At all.

    Spare wheel secures how?

Jesus, you not cleaned it for a while???

    Spare wheel secures how?

I think (think!) the polystyrene thing was for a 172 Cup and held a can of tyre weld. (They didn't come with a spare wheel)
  22. Dicky Belly

    Spare wheel secures how?

A Ph1 172 should come with a 15 inch steel wheel. You place it face down in the wheel well and then the kit shown in the eBay link above screws through the wheel and into the boot floor, securing the lot.

Mk1's are money pits. But they are far cooler than a 172. If it's not going to be your daily, I'd get a mk1. If you want to travel in it, get a 172.

    2nd Gear Problem

£300-500 depending what needs replacing. Plus the labour to take the box out. (£150) And whilst it's out, fit a new OE clutch. (Valeo, £90)

    2nd Gear Problem

I would personally get your current one rebuilt. Clio's are known for s**t weak gearboxes so you could buy one that lasts a year or you could buy one that lasts a weekend.
