    Another Kangoo 182

I needed a practical car for work, but I really missed track days so I sold my Impreza and my 306 and went clio 182/197 hunting. Sadly all I could find was over priced crap. Then I stumbled across a really scruffy kangoo/182 conversion that had been 60% finished so I did a buy! Plan was to...

    ABS sensors, talk to me...

I need a pair of front 182 ABS sensors. Euro car parts have some Bosch ones that are about £19 each with discount. Am I wasting my time? Should I buy genuine? Last time I looked they were £100+ so I don’t really want to do that...

172 cup front shocks on phase 1

Have you replaced the rear shocks and springs too? Or just the fronts? Stiffer new fronts and old saggy rears (!) will give you pony handling traits.

Advise buying a second hand car form a dealer

If the belt is worrying you, ask for the money off instead and get it done yourself. When I was selling cars that line was music to my ears! No more warranty on the cambelt for the dealer! Lol

Advise buying a second hand car form a dealer

You’ve done the deal. How would you feel if he rang you up tomorrow and said he’s thought about it and he actually wants another £150? You’d be pissed. You made a deal, you shook on it, you deposited £500 as you were happy with the deal you got. To try and renegotiate now would be a bit of a...

    Riggers' Primera P10 trackcar

I love these, never had a go on one though. My mate had one with a massive cone filter and it absolutely howled at full chat. He smashed it up before I got a go in it though.

I'm led to believe that if (When?) the diff blows up, you can't get a replacement. From anywhere...?

Seeing 1990's cars on the roads nowadays....

Mine's an 850R. Which from a technical and physical point of view is the better car, but the T5-R is the one the Volvo fan boys want.

I have a few 90’s cars and all of them strike a conversation when I’m out and about in them; Pug 306 Escort RS Turbo Volvo 850R Fiat Coupe 20vT And I’ve just bought a 328i but it’s dog rough so nobody cares about that.

The buyer for this has now pulled out due to unforeseen circumstances. A shame but it’s now mot’d (as of tomorrow) and ready so it will be a shame not to use it this summer and get along to a few local car meets! ?

    Autoglym Lifeshine?

Hold on, they never asked for it. The dealership have no right to stick add ons in to the deal without telling the customer! Just because the salesman/BM is a lazy t**t and can’t be bothered to up sell, they have no right to do that. Proper underhand!

    Autoglym Lifeshine?

I’d be going mental. They have stuffed a £400 product in to your mum and not told her, just so they can get more commission. Tell them to f**k off. I have an abundance of lifeshine products that I am willing to post to you FOC, just cover the postage. It will take you half a day tops to do...

My Monaco 172. Five years in the making...

So, I bought this roughly 5 years ago. It wouldn’t run as the dephaser was so knackered, it had been keyed down one side, looked proper sorry for itself. BUT it was really straight, never had an accident, subframe had never been off, no rust, low miles at 55k, and I knew I could make it lovely...

    Renatec Bristol - avoid.

My dads mate had his 182 maintained by them for years, despite me telling him otherwise... Some of the bodges on it were beyond comical. And they fitted a new UCH to it and didn’t configure the central locking, auto lights, cruise control etc and told him that’s how they come.... Shower of...
