With the engine being developed as a BMW/Pug joint project if it was going to have more beef to it surely BMW would have wanted the same in the Mini?
But yeah you would think Pug would at least want to equal the BHP of the 206 180 with it?
P21s will work just fine, but is only good for 30 odd days, will look good.
For more protection - ideally Klasse recommend there SG sealant but it is a b**ch to use. Autogym Extra Gloss will also work well.
I have just got some JEFFS Werkstatt Acrylic Jett Trigger which arrived yesterday...
Looking good - Nice and shiny.
Worth noting as a stand alone product despite what the bottle says AIO won't last that long protection, worth topping it with there Sealant or a good wax.
It is a great chemical cleaner though.
Have the specs etc of the 207 GTi been published now? I have not seen them?
With all the rumours about it still flying round there was talk of it having more power than in the mini.
It will also be easily chipable now aswell. Still it may still drive as bad as the 206 though!
They stuff they use comes up very cheap on ebay all the time.
The interior part of the pack is worth it though - wanted it for the 182 but the stealer would only do the full pack interior and exterior not just the inside.
Some do it, chances are it may shed.
I rinse mine well after use with the hose and dry and that normally suffices.
If they do get grubby I use that as an excuse to relegate them to dirty jobs and use a new one, or if they are quite new wash by hand in Woolite.
To be honest I prefered my drive in a Full Fat 182 with H&R's more than I enjoyed the tets drive I had Trophy. Who knows if this would be the same long term living with each.
The Trophy is great if you like Red, want a limited edition car and won't want to modify it.
For me I dont like flat...
