I'd look at the 17-85 for a decent best of both worlds lens if your on a budget, 24-70 is restrictive on the wide side on a crop :(

Do you already have the standard 18-55mm kit lens? I presume you dont. Whats your budget? I'd get something a bit more versatile than the 10-20 if its your only lens.

Yorkshire specialists charge a fair bit more than a lot of the rest for some reason, guess they have a bit of a monopoly being nowhere else to go up north. Might be worth also getting a quote from birchdown, wont be that much petrol (around £40 from malton and back i reckon) and its a nice day...
